Polar Vortex Affects Lake County School
SERVPRO of Southern McHenry County received a call from a middle school located in Ingleside unincorporated Lake County at 3:55 PM in the afternoon. Their sparkler system had burst causing a large portion of the front area of the school to be flooded.
We arrived on-site at 5:30 PM and meet with the Superintendent of the school district to developed an action and drying plan. By 6 PM we had started the water mitigation process. We extracted all of the affected areas and left specialized drying equipment for this large project.
The structure was completely dried within 5 days with minimal disruption to the schools schedule.
At the end of the drying process the superintendent thank us for being professional and experienced.
