COMMERCIAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF MCHENRY FLOODED DUE TO BURST PIPE
On January 8 evening we received a call for help from a property manager in the City of McHenry. During that day the temperatures had fallen to -10F. When this occurred several pipes burst in commercial property that had just been leased. We were on site within 2 hours after receiving the call and meet the property management. During the meeting we were able to make step by step course of action.
The first step extract all of the water and remove all wet materials. The second step was to place drying equipment.
The third step was to monitor on a daily basis until the structure was dried.
The management company at the end of job had commented the following
- Responded quickly to their needs.
- We laid out a detailed course of actions
- All of our workers were polite and hard working
- We finished the job within the required timeframe
- And total cost was within the quoted amount
The bottom line the management company be within budget, got the property back in a timely matter that the new renter was able to move in on the required date and was happy they choose SERVPRO of Southern McHenry County.
