Storm Event July 2017 in Cary IL

This storm water was the result of the heavy rains from the July Event of 2017 backing up into to the basement level of this home in the Cary. The photo illustrates the water covering the glued down carpet. We extracted the water to create a safer home environment. We also placed air movers and dehumidifiers were set up to evaporate and capture the remaining moisture lingering in the structure. This moisture removal took three days to dry out the glued down carpet slowly and to verify that the carpeting and drywall was within normal standards of dryness.
